Job Summary: Nursing Assistant (NA) in a 90-bed senior skilled nursing facility specializing in long-term and post-acute care services.
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Job Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents.
  
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
  
• Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
  
• Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
  
• Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
  
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
  
• Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
    
  • Minimum age of 16.
    
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
    
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
