Lakeside Generations is hiring a -Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) -to join our team as a -Charge Nurse! In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $10,000 Bonus! This is a -Full-Time, benefit eligible position available. Shift: Evening (2:00pm to 10:30pm)

Full-Time is eligible for a $10,000 Bonus. Bonus payout will be discussed in the interview.

Charge Nurse -(RN) responsibilities: -

• Display -an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Function -as a team member with other staff in performance of duties.
• Manage -medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Administer -medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Implement -individual plan of care for resident and monitors staff providing care.
• Notify nurse manager, attending physician, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Order -lab, x-ray, ambulance, and other services as necessary.
• Receive, transcribes, and carries out physician's orders.
• Participate -in direct resident care as needed.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge -residents according to procedures.
• Monitor -nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
• Perform additional tasks as requested. Charge Nurse (RN) skills and requirements:
  • Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) License -required.
  • Must have strong nursing and leadership skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
