Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Sanitation technicians are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production floor, following company procedures and policies. They must also be cross-trained in various areas of production.

• Learn and follow the correct cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Clean and reassemble parts and equipment.
• Obtain general information on every area of the production floor.
• Follow all company procedures and policies.
• Learn the CIP systems in the assigned department.
• Report any production or sanitation issues.
• Assist with production and sanitation needs.
• Adhere to safety procedures and requirements.
• Communicate with relevant departments on equipment issues and inspections.
• Ensure food safety, food quality, and product quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Successful completion of yearly LOTO and Chemical Training.
  • Ability to learn and follow the correct cleaning procedures.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various situations.
